received her grade 4 Cecchetti Certification from City Ballet of Raleigh. She trained at the Interlochen Arts Academy and North Carolina School of the Arts, under Mel Tomlinson and Melissa Hayden. Sarah studied at George Washington University with Dana Tai-Soon Burgess. She was Dance Captain for North Carolina Theatre’s Kids on Broadway production of "Tick, Tick…BOOM!," and appeared in the North Carolina Theatre’s production of Chess.
Sarah graduated from NC State University in May 2006 and is a teacher at Carroll Middle School. She is also an instructor at The North Carolina Dance Institute, where she has studied for many years under the direction of Kirstie Tice Spadie. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of women in The Dance Cure.
